A strategic influencer, seasoned communicator and diplomatic negotiator with a unique professional experience, Maria Silos previously served as Advisor to a New South Wales Member of Parliament and Senator, the New South Wales Deputy Premier and Minister for Trade and Investment, a Global Commentator on Emerging Markets, and the United Arab Emirates Ambassador.

Maria Silos has worked for one of Australia’s oldest and prominent think tank CEDA - the Committee for Economic Development of Australia having an in-depth understanding of Economics, Political Economy, and Regulatory Economics.

With a strong pursuit of excellence, achievement, integrity, Maria Silos has deep experience in complex environments by shaping and executing strategy, delivering commercial results, leading and managing the team, and influencing collaboratively.

Maria Silos holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Political Economy and Middle Eastern Studies (Awarded with Merit); a Master of International Studies; a Master of International Law all from The University of Sydney; was awarded a scholarship in Chinese Studies at Fudan University, Shanghai; and studied Russian History at the University of California Santa Cruz; and Narrative Economics at Yale University.
